Yes, a nursery is provided for all our services. When you enter the foyer, the nursery is located down the hallway on the right. The nursery is the third door on the right, just past the Ladies’ Restroom door.
Which Bible should I bring?
All preaching, teaching, and Scripture reading is done out of the King James Bible. If you do not have a Bible, we have one for you! Please feel free to ask one of the ushers, and they will be glad to give you a Bible. Click Here for a short video explaining why the King James Version.
Do you have Sunday School classes for children/youth?
Yes, Mountainview Baptist Church offers different classes for children of all ages. The children attend with their parents in the main auditorium and then they are dismissed by the song leader after singing a few songs and participating in Bible Sword Drills. There are Sunday School classes for all ages, including the adults. We also have a Children’s Bible Club (“Anchor Club”) and our Teen/Youth Group that meets on Wednesdays, coinciding with the Midweek Service.
What should I wear?
If you attend one of our church services, we will be happy that you came, regardless of how “dressed up” you may be. Most attendees dress in “traditional-church-going-wear”. If they do “dress up”, it is simply out of respect, or personal convictions, and not because of a “dress code”. Our desire is that you feel welcome as our guest on your visit here at Mountainview Baptist!
Am I expected to give something in the Offering?
No. We did not invite you to Mountainview Baptist Church for your offering. The offering plate is passed because we expect our church members to give of their tithes & offerings to the Lord’s work. However, you are invited as our guest, and our church service is a gift to you.
Which entrance do I use?
The main entrance for our new building is located at the East side of the building. Visitor parking is available on the South side of the building. Handicap parking is also available on both the South & North sides of the building. Extra parking is available to the West of the building, and to the North. We have a “wrap-around” driveway for entering and exiting the church property.
Do you make visitors stand up?
No, we do not make visitors stand up and tell us who they are. Before the offering, the pastor will ask if there are any first time visitors, and upon raising of your hand an usher will hand you a visitors packet for you to keep. In the packet will be a vistiors card for you to fill out and place in the offering plate so that we may keep a record of your visit.
